While it was true that it wasn't her fault that his illness got as bad as it was, it couldn't be denied that it was ultimately her fault that it was given the opportunity in the first place. While she didn't feel awful about it, she felt about as bad as Celebi could muster on a regular basis.

Her smile softened into one that was much more thoughtful though. "... It means a lot to mean a lot."

Off she went to squirrel away her present. It was safely stowed away in a bit of tree for future deliberations. Did she want to keep it here, or did she want to take it to Ilex, or maybe a third option that was not yet explored. A difficult decision indeed. At least thanking him for it was much easier.
